PROF. TEOFIL JESIONOWSKI CHAIRMAN OF THE CONGRESS OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY

The 10th Congress of Chemical Technology was held in Wroclaw. Over 500 scientists and industry representatives from all over Poland participated in the event. Numerous thematic panels and discussions were held, and many lectures were delivered on the currently important topic related to chemistry, chemical technology, and chemical engineering.

8TH KAYAKING & SUP RACES FOR THE RECTOR'S CUP WERE HELD ON LAKE ROGOZINSKIE ON MAY 15TH 

After the covid break, the canoe sections of AZS PUT and UKS Szpaki were independent regatta organisers. Their patron was the Polish Olympic Committee. Uone and Disport companies, as every year, supported the organization of the competition. Thanks to the cooperation of the mayor of Rogozno, and above all with the Association of the Friends of Rogozinska Two, the regatta was held on Lake Rogozinskie. The Greater Poland Canoe Association provided logistic assistance.

TECHNOLOGY SHAPES DEVELOPMENT

The 8th Conference was opened by Andrzej Ziółkowski - the President of UDT, outlining the role that UDT plays in the development of the economy and how it works to protect the climate in the widest possible way. The opening was an introduction to the debate, the subject of which is related to the conference slogan - "technology shapes development".

SUCCESS OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS FROM PUT IN 2022 START COMPETITION

The Foundation for Polish Science announced the results of the competition for the prestigious 2022 START scholarship. The competition is a prestigious award for the most talented young researchers, granted in recognition of their scientific achievements. The competition is open to researchers from all fields who in the year of application are under 30 years of age.

A total of 100 scholarships were awarded, seven of which were awarded to scientists from the Poznan University of Technology:

PUT AMONG THE SIGNATORIES TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE 3W INTERDISCIPLINARY INNOVATION CENTER

The Interdisciplinary Innovation Centre will popularize the idea of 3W (Water, Hydrogen, Coal), and a friendly ecosystem will be created to support the exchange of knowledge or obtain support for projects aimed at the synergy of water, hydrogen, and modern carbon technologies.

The preamble during the Impact'22 Congress was signed by, among others: Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka, the president of BGK, Piotr Dardziński, the president of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, prof. Teofil Jesionowski, the rector of the Poznan University of Technology.

POZNAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AT H2POLAND FAIR AT MTP

H2POLAND is the first fair in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe entirely devoted to hydrogen technologies. The event will be a platform for the exchange of knowledge during conferences and debates combined with an exhibition of the latest solutions devoted to low and zero-emission economy. The Poznan University of Technology will participate in this high-ranking event.

The speaker of the conference will be professor Paweł FUC from the Faculty of Civil and Transport Engineering, who will present the modern use of hydrogen in transport.
