The distinction of our doctors from the FCE and the FCTE

Doctoral theses recently defended at the PUT among those awarded by the mayor of the city.

Agata Zdarta, Adam Kubiak and Tomasz Nowakowski were among the winners of this year's edition of  "The Poznan City Award for an outstanding doctoral dissertation". 46 dissertations were submitted to the competition.

The Poznan University of Technology has been awarded two prizes and one honourable distinction. The first award was given to Tomasz Nowakowski for the work entitled "Development of a method for assessing the vibroacoustic activity of a tram based on trackside measurements". The doctoral supervisor was prof. Franciszek Tomaszewski.

The second award went to Adam Kubiak, who prepared his work "Evaluation of the impact of the conditions of synthesis of active oxide materials on their physicochemical and utility properties" under the supervision of prof. Teofil Jesionowski.

Agata Zdarty's dissertation entitled "The influence of hydrocarbon pollution on adaptation capacity of microorganisms to biodegradation of aliphatic and aromatic compounds" received an honourable distinction. The promoter was prof. Ewa Kaczorek.
